DOES EVERYONE GET THEIR PICTURE TAKEN ON PICTURE DAY? SHOULD EVERYONE GET A PICTURE TAKEN?

Yes, Team Sports Images takes a picture of each player, regardless if they are placing an order or not. This is done for team rosters, school athletics departments, and team websites.

CAN I PAY BY CASH OR CHECK?

Absolutely! Although we prefer you place your order online, we will gladly accept cash or personal check. When paying with cash, please have the exact amount. We do not have the ability to provide change.

CAN I PRINT THE IMAGES I RECEIVE?

Almost every package includes a digital download option for the images, so if you really want to order prints yourself, you may! Good Luck! All digital images come with a copyright release that allows you to use the image anywhere you would like or make as many reproductions as you like.

That said, we caution that not all prints are created equal. A lot of places will print things with strange-looking colors, greenish casts, and too much contrast, and just in general they won’t turn out the way they are intended. We’ve spent countless hours getting images to look a specific way. Poor printing can reverses all that work. That said, we always recommend that you order prints through us if you want to make sure they come out exactly as we intended. We send everyone an online gallery with their images, and you can order prints at any time, in any size, on any paper, and they all come with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee or your money back!

I FORGET MY ORDER FORM. CAN I STILL ORDER PICTURES?

Yes. You may order online by clicking HERE. Online orders may be done ahead of time, or after Picture Day. As long as your player was photographed.

WHAT IF I HAVE MORE THAN ONE PLAYER ON PICTURE DAY?

Please place 2 separate orders. Either order twice online specifying each player’s name in the checkout process, or fill out 2 separate order forms.

CAN OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ORDER PACKAGES?

Yes. The easiest way is to order ONLINE or have your player hand in two separate order forms, one for each separate order. You can make can photocopies if necessary.

IS THERE ANY WAY YOU CAN ENHANCE OR PERSONALIZE MY PHOTOS?

Definitely. You have several options:

1. Personalized wallets: Customize your wallet prints by adding your student’s name and school year.

2. Retouching: Have us soften your complexion or lighten your teeth. If you purchased premier retouching please allow 2-5 extra days for your photos to finish the editing process before you receive your order.

3. Customized products: Make the image last longer with magnets, buttons, and SportsMates.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Pictures are delivered to the organization approximately 3-4 weeks after Picture Day. Depending on the club or organization, they may hold the pictures for distribution at a banquet, or they may distribute them to the coaches to give to their own players. Some leagues request that all photos be mailed to the players' homes, for a nominal charge. Once we have delivered pictures to an organization, the time it takes to distribute to each individual child varies by club or organization. (Orders can not be delivered to PO Boxes)

DO YOU HAVE BACKUPS?

Yes! We shoot to two different cards in each camera, so we immediately have a backup of your images right from the start. These are copied to a RAID5 array of 5 network-attached hard drives where the images are again duplicated across all of them twice in case one or two of them fail at any time. We also put my in-progress work on one more additional offline drive that is backed up to the cloud, In the event, we haven’t finished your photos they are located in a variety of different places just in case something goes terribly wrong!

DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE?

Yes, absolutely! Our equipment is insured and we also have a liability insurance policy. We’re happy to provide you with this information upon request.

NOTE: We HIGHLY recommend you ask us, or any other photographer you’re considering to see this for yourself!

CAN I POST MY IMAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Absolutely, please do! We love it when people share their images online with friends and family! However, if you do share them, make sure to give me photo credit and include a link back to my photography page within whatever platform you are using.

If you’ve already made a purchase, you can log in at any time to make additional purchases. If you are in the process of ordering a package, you will have the option to add extra photos during checkout.

I ORDERED A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD. NOW WHAT?

You should receive an email shortly after your order is complete. It will include a link to download your images on your desktop computer.

I’M HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY IMAGE DOWNLOAD

We’re sorry that you’re having problems but we’re here to help! We send your images in a zipped file, but they must be downloaded on a desktop computer–not your phone or tablet. WHAT IF MY ORDER IS INCORRECT?

Be prepared to give your player’s name, the name of the school, and what items you did receive, so we correct the order.

CAN I SEE MY IMAGE BEFORE I ORDER?

For Senior Banners, Yes! Team Sports Images provides a ‘Preview / Proof’ location for players to look at the images being considered for senior banners. This location can be obtained from your coach.

WHY IS AN 8 x 10 PRINT MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN PRINTS THAT CAN BE MADE AT MY LOCAL, LARGE WAREHOUSES FOR JUST A FEW DOLLARS?

Team Sports Images use a professional print lab that specializes in printing. The paper we utilize is an ‘archival’, high-quality paper with a multi-year life. It’s also important to be reminded the cost of the print is just one part of the overall costs that we use to determine our prices. There are production costs, labor, and additional overhead that go into determining the prices we charge.

WHY ARE DIGITAL IMAGES MORE THAN PRINTS?

With a digital image, we provide you with the ability to print as many copies as you want in any size. We believe it provides more value than a single print.

CAN I GET RAW, UNEDITED PHOTOS FROM MY SESSION?

Sorry, but no. we never provide unedited or raw images.

Though it may not seem like a big deal to send raw photos, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a photographer who’s OK with doing so. The main reason and this is true for me, is that each photographer’s editing technique plays just as big of a role in their aesthetic as snapping the images themselves. And though the editing process can certainly be long-winded, it’s one of my favorite parts of the job.

MY PLAYER MISSED THE TEAM PHOTO. CAN YOU DIGITALLY INSERT THEM INTO THE PICTURE?

Maybe. Your athlete will have to find a time that will work with our schedule within a couple of days of the original date as we do not want to delay the publication of pictures for one person.

While we can do this, it will cost $45. Due to the complexity of the work involved and the volume of work we do, we typically have to send this to a third party so the final product doesn’t look like something fit for an awkward family photo website.

We DO NOT accept submitted photos of athletes to insert into team photos. Any photos for work like this must be photographed by us.

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE THE PICTURE?

All Team Sports Images portraits are backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with the order, call us at 909-300-5502. We will happily rephotograph your student at our studio to get the best expression and you get the products you want. Or, you may return all the products to us. Once we receive your products, we will gladly refund your order.

WHAT IF I DON’T RECEIVE MY ORDER?

If you did not receive your picture order, you should check with other team members to see if they have received their pictures.

Sometimes, coaches/teams will hold them for a banquet, end-of-year party, etc. If other team members have received their photos, you should contact the coach, who may be holding them for you.

Also, some organizations have arranged for pictures to be mailed directly to each player’s home. Please allow additional time for mailing.
