Beautiful Bandon Oregon
Coast Photography Workshop 2021
BANDON OREGON
3 DAYS AT ONE OF MY FAVORITE
STRETCHES ON THE OREGON COAST
** NEW 2021 SESSIONS AVAILABLE **
Limited to just five participants, this workshop is designed to combine the best aspects of an inspiring seminar, and hands-on workshop all into one exquisite trip.
Bandon is home to rocky beaches, color popping tide pools, multiple lighthouses and wonderful sand dunes – It’s also an excellent location to capture jaw dropping abstract photographic images.
This is a very special workshop. Intensive hands on learning sessions that push your photographic skills to the limit as well as an online session after we leave that will focus on post processing and workflow.
Although Bandon is outstanding by itself, we will strive to reach into our brief visit and find the landscapes-within-landscapes; unique images beyond what’s visual obvious.
We have no doubt you’ll come way from this workshop improved as an artist and creative photographer.
Hopefully gaining some new friends while you’re here with us.

Important note: To make the most of our time during this workshop we will be closely monitoring current weather conditions. The weather will very likely play a role in our locations for our sunrise and sunset photography. Because of this, we’ve built time in our shooting schedules to allow the sessions to be altered to effectively cater to the photographic desires of the group, as well as to adapt to always changing weather conditions.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This is serious, sleep-when-you’re-dead style photography. Expect the alarm clock to go off VERY EARLY. We’ll grab a bite to eat together (if something is open yet) and then we’ll head off.
Each day is different. If we have decent cloud cover during the day, we have the ability to sometimes stay out day shooting. If the clouds clear out, and a clear day spoils the photography, we may only shoot morning and evening and night. We’ll do our best to give you a plan of what each day will bring the night before, but this is the Pacific Northwest! Everything depends on weather...
PHYSICAL ABILITIES / SKILL LEVEL /EQUIPMENT
From a physical standpoint, if you feel comfortable walking 1 or 2 miles on uneven terrain, you should be in good, physical shape for this workshop. The rocky terrain along the coast can be uneven in some places. We generally won’t need to go on any prolonged hikes over 2 miles. If any location is out of your comfort zone, you’re more than welcome to shoot another location, stay at the hotel and rest, or wait until we get to another, more acceptable location for you. We do our best to group photographers of the same physical abilities together.
Advanced Photography skills are not required. Everyone is welcome! Quite often we have a good mix of mostly intermediate photographers, a few advanced, and a few beginners.
IMPORTANT - DISCLAIMER
By attending this workshop, you agree to hold Rob Veal, employees, owners and instructors harmless for all personal injury or loss that may occur during or in connection with this trip. This is a self-led travel trip. You are responsible for your own personal safety. Whether in your car, with roommates you select, and as you move about the Oregon Coast.
